The parks in Bull Shoals, Arkansas are getting an upgrade thanks to a $5,000 grant from the Arvest Foundation.

Help us fight hunger in our community.

The gift was announced recently in Bull Shoals. Executive vice president and sales manager David McBee of Arvest Bank was on hand to present the check to Bull Shoals mayor David Nixon.

The funding from this grant will allow Bull Shoals to focus on repairing and upgrading parks throughout the city.

“Tourism and retirement are the main drivers of our local economy, and that means maintaining and improving the attraction and functionality of our parks is of utmost importance,” Nixon said. “We’re thankful to the Arvest Foundation for giving us a grant to help with this.”

“Having a welcoming place for friends and family to gather near the lake is what sets the Bull Shoals community apart and is definitely worth preserving,” McBee said. “The Arvest Foundation is pleased to present this grant to Bull Shoals, and we hope it will allow the city to continue flourishing.”
