Arvest Wealth Management has been named to the National Association of Plan Advisors’ (NAPA) list of the nation’s top defined contribution Advisor Teams with Assets under Advisement (AUA) over $100 Million. It is the second year in a row the team has been recognized by NAPA.
Unlike other lists, this focuses on individual firms, or what may, in a wirehouse environment, be referred to as a team, or office, and the assets under advisement related to their defined contribution (DC) practice, specifically in a single physical location. The inaugural list was published in 2017. Arvest was one of two Arkansas-based companies to make the list.
Asa Cottrell, Arvest Wealth Management president and CEO, said the nine-member team has more than 215 years of combined experience and they hold multiple industry certifications. This positions the team to be able to support any business, from smaller companies and nonprofits to governmental entities and large corporations.
“Whether building a new plan from the ground up or enhancing and managing an existing plan, we work with clients to design, support and sustain a customized, high-quality retirement plan that not only helps attract and retain the most qualified employees, but fulfills our mission: People helping people find financial solutions for life,” Cottrell said. “It’s an honor to have our team recognized for the outstanding work they do.”
Nevin Adams, chief content officer of the American Retirement Association and editor-in-chief of NAPA-Net, the nation’s leading online resource for retirement plan advisors, said NAPA’s various industry lists have been a valuable Who’s Who in the world of retirement plans and retirement plan advisors.
“As the nation’s leading voice for retirement plan advisors, we are once again pleased to highlight the contributions and commitment of these teams,” Adams said.
Despite the market turmoil in 2022, the record number (362) of teams on this year’s list continue to guide nearly $2 trillion in defined contribution plan assets belonging to more than 56,000 plans covering more than 23 million participants. Located in 41 states and the District of Columbia, each team listed has more than $100 million in AUA, based on self-reported assets under advisement as of Dec. 31, 2022.
