Children in the Russellville area will benefit from a $2,500 grant from the Arvest Foundation.

Help us fight hunger in our community.

The gift was announced recently at Valley Christian School. Shawn Bates, Tammy Burchett, Megan Chenowith and Jason McGee were on hand to present the check to the school’s staff.

“We are very grateful to the Arvest Foundation for the $2,500 grant,” said TJ Curtis, Valley Christian School board president. “This grant helps further the education of our littlest students at Valley Christian Preschool. The outdoor toys and the classroom manipulatives that were bought with the grant will help each student learn and grow.”

“On behalf of the Arvest Foundation it is our pleasure to present this grant to Valley Christian Preschool,” Bates said. “The kids at Valley Christian Preschool will enjoy new toys that they will get to enjoy inside and outside the classroom. This is one of many grants from our foundation supporting the schools in our communities throughout the River Valley.”
