Students and staff at the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain in Mena will enjoy an upgraded soccer field thanks to a $4,100 donation from the Arvest Foundation.

The gift was announced today at the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain in Mena. Theresa Young of Arvest Bank was on hand to present the check.

“The partnership between Arvest Foundation and UA Rich Mountain for the development of the athletic facilities contributes to growth opportunities for students and the local community,” said Diann Gathright, director of development at UA Rich Mountain. “The college appreciates the Arvest Foundation for providing the scoreboard for the soccer field at Tapley Park. This field will be the site for UA Rich Mountain soccer in the future.”

“The Arvest Foundation is very grateful for the opportunity to provide the funds to help the development for the athletic facilities,” Young said. “These funds will contribute to the growth opportunities for the students and the local community.”
