The gift was announced at a recent check presentation at Arkansas Tech in Russellville. In addition to new uniforms, both teams will receive new balls, gloves, golf bags, etc.

“We thank the Arvest Foundation for its generosity and support,” Arkansas Tech director of athletics Abby Davis said. “I know Coach (Joey) Baldwin and his players appreciate this gift as well and are eager to get some much-needed new equipment.”

The Arkansas Tech golf program exists to provide the best possible experiences for its student-athletes – both men and women – in the classroom and on the golf course.

“We are so pleased to make this donation on behalf of the Arvest Foundation,” said Shawn Bates, community bank president for Arvest in Russellville. “This is just one of many we have made throughout the area and we trust that it demonstrates the foundation’s ongoing commitment to our community.”
