The gift was announced recently at the Good Samaritan Clinic. Roger Holroyd, Tim Shields, Tammy Roper and Beth Presley of Arvest Bank were on hand to present the check.

The grant will be used to upgrade the clinic’s technology and purchase medical equipment and supplies.

“We were so excited to have Roger Holroyd, president Arvest FSM – along with his team members Tim Shields and Beth Presley – tour the Good Samaritan Clinic in late March. Their compassion, interest and belief in our mission was evident, and so very appreciated!” said Patti Kimbrough, executive director of the Good Samaritan Clinic. “Additionally, the Arvest Foundation’s investment in our local River Valley community and the Good Samaritan Clinic just further endorses the true definition of what being a Good Samaritan truly is.”

“We are pleased to present this donation on behalf of the Arvest Foundation to the Good Samaritan Clinic,” said Roger Holroyd, bank president for Arvest in Fort Smith and the River Valley. “It’s important for everyone to have access to quality health care regardless of their ability to pay. We are excited to have this opportunity to support this program in Fort Smith and we are very thankful for the foundation’s ongoing commitment to help support our community.”
