Students in Sallisaw will have an enriched learning environment thanks to a $3,000 donation from the Arvest Foundation.

Help us fight hunger in our community.

The gift was announced today at Central Elementary School in Sallisaw. Lacey Prentice and Jessica Taylor of Arvest Bank were on hand to present the check.

“We appreciate the foundation’s support,” Central Public Schools superintendent Larry Henson said. “The school has used the funds to purchase Chromebooks for our elementary class. We thank the Arvest Foundation for its continued support of Central Public Schools.”

“We appreciate everything the staff does for our students, and we are thankful for the opportunity to give back to Central Public Schools and the communities they serve,” Taylor said. “This donation is just one of many we have made throughout the area. It demonstrates the foundation’s ongoing commitment to education and to the children in the region.”
