“Shandy is a proven leader who brings a wealth of experience to her new leadership position. She has played an instrumental role in the success of the Oklahoma City market and possesses the vision necessary to position the bank for future success,” Arvest regional executive Brad Krieger said. “Shandy’s industry knowledge, dedication to the communities we serve and leadership ability make her a perfect fit to lead this outstanding central Oklahoma team.”

Belford earned a bachelor’s degree in business information systems, with a minor in finance, from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She is a member of the Oklahoma Bankers Association’s Women in Banking and is actively involved with the Edmond Chamber of Commerce, Oklahoma Christian Schools, Oklahoma City’s Festival of the Arts and the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, among a lengthy list of civic endeavors. Additionally, Belford is a graduate of Leadership OKC, served as the Chair of Leadership Edmond, a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado and since graduation has served as an ambassador of the program.

“I am thrilled to be leading the Oklahoma City market for Arvest” Belford said. “We have an incredibly talented team who genuinely love what they do and value our relationships with customers. It has been a pleasure to work alongside this team for the past six years and I look forward to the great things we will accomplish together. As a life-long Oklahoman, I am dedicated to giving back to the communities in which we live and work and helping customers find financial solutions for life.”

Shandy and her husband, Chris, have three children, Lauren, Trent and Cooper. In her free time, you will find her supporting her children at their various activities or volunteering at one of the many local organizations she is committed to serving.
