Students and faculty at the University of the Ozarks will benefit from a $5,000 donation from the Arvest Foundation.

The gift was announced recently at the University of the Ozarks. Jason Shook, Whitney Koegniseder, Tammy Burchett, Tony Warren, Ian Bryan, Britney Wilkerson, Kacey Yarborough and Jessy Moreno of Arvest Bank were on hand to present the check.

Thanks to the donation, the school will be able to purchase a large tent to be used for various events on and around campus.

“We are very thankful to receive this grant from the Arvest Foundation,” said Richard Dunsworth, president of the university. “It will benefit our faculty, staff and students during campus and community events.”

“We are very pleased to present this check to University of the Ozarks on behalf of the Arvest Foundation,” Warren said. “We appreciate the university and what they do for our community, and look forward to our continued partnership in the river valley.”
