The Arvest Foundation recently awarded a $3,300 grant to Liberty Elementary School in support of the school’s Super Kids Day.

Help us fight hunger in our community.

The funds from the grant provided t-shirts and chalk for Super Kids Day. The t-shirts represent the grade levels of the kids, and the chalk is used for the Fun Run, which is a color run.

The gift was announced recently at the elementary school in Sallisaw. Branch Sales Manager Lacey Prentice and Relationship Banker Amanda Smith of Arvest Bank were on hand to present the check to Toni Jasna from Liberty Elementary School.

“We want to thank Arvest Bank for purchasing each student at Liberty Elementary’s Fun Day t-shirt and the chalk for their Fun Run,” said Jasna. “We appreciate all you do for us and our community.”

“We’re proud to give this foundation grant to Liberty Elementary to ensure each student received a t-shirt for Super Kids Day this year,” said Prentice. “We enjoy being able to help our local schools, and we’re excited to be able to support them in their efforts to make learning fun.”
