The Arvest Foundation recently provided $41,000 in donations to nine outstanding charities doing excellent work in Saline County, Ark.

The follow organizations received contributions:

 Benton Farmers Market

The Benton Farmers Market will continue to provide access to locally sourced sustainable foods in 2021, thanks to a donation from the Arvest Foundation. The Imagination Library of Saline County

More than 1,500 children in Saline County will continue to receive books through the Imagination Library of Saline County due to this funding from the Arvest Foundation. This childhood literacy advocacy organization mails free books to children from birth until age five. More than 102,000 books have been delivered to Saline County kids since the program started. Civitan Services Bryant Campus

Children and adults with developmental disabilities will continue to receive housing and educational programming through the Civitan Services Bryant Campus thanks to this donation. This organization offers several services, including preschool education, adult classes and a group home that encourages socialization, independence and healthy habits. Bryant Rotary Club

Kids in need in the Bryant area will receive free winter coats, jackets, underwear and backpacks from the Bryant Rotary Club thanks to a donation from the Arvest Foundation. The Kid’s Closet initiative provides warm jackets and school clothes to children referred to the program by teachers and school counselors.  Saline County Safe Haven, Inc.

Victims of domestic violence will see expanded support for their physical, social, and emotional needs through programming at Saline County Safe Haven, Inc. thanks to this contribution. This organization provides domestic violence survivors with resources to heal, grow and overcome their situations through provision of a safe space and a community of support.  The CALL

Foster children who are clients of The CALL’s programming will receive new bedding and some additional home maintenance thanks to a donation from the Arvest Foundation. The CALL is an organization whose mission is to meet the demand for more foster care families by recruiting more families to become foster families. Destined to Win Second Chance Youth Ranch, Inc.

Foster children in Saline County will have access to a new group facility through Destined to Win Second Chance Youth Ranch, Inc. thanks in part to a donation from the Arvest Foundation. Arkansas Dance Center Parent Organization

Graduating high school seniors will receive access to scholarships through the Arkansas Dance Center (ADC) Parent Organization thanks in part to this donation. The ADC Parent Organization’s mission is to remove the financial barrier for ADC students to participate in dance and the arts, and to receive higher education through scholarship opportunities. Lisowe’s Lights

Foster children throughout central Arkansas and the nation will receive free night lights from Lisowe’s Lights, thanks to this donation. Every year, the Lisowe family of central Arkansas collects night lights to donate to foster kids. To date the organization has reached foster children in all 50 states.
