Students and staff in the Brushy (Okla.) school system will benefit from a $4,000 donation from the Arvest Foundation.
The gift was announced recently at the Early Childhood Center at Brushy Public School. Jessica Taylor and Lacey Prentice from Arvest Bank were on hand to present the check to the school.
“Brushy Public School would like to thank the Arvest Foundation for its generosity in helping provide playground equipment for our early childhood students,” superintendent Greg Reynolds said. “We certainly value the foundation’s partnership within this year of expected budget cuts to education.”
“We are pleased to present this donation on behalf of the Arvest Foundation to Brushy Public School,” Taylor said. “We are excited to have this opportunity to make an impact in Sequoyah County by providing funds dedicated to playground equipment and personal protective equipment for the staff and students. We are very thankful for the foundation’s ongoing commitment to help support our community.”
