Children in Sallisaw, Okla., area will benefit from a $3,600 donation from the Arvest Foundation.

Help us fight hunger in our community.

The gift was announced recently at the Boys & Girls Club of Sequoyah County. Jessica Taylor and Lacey Prentice from Arvest Bank were on hand to present the check to club staff members.

“We are extremely honored to be selected for this grant by the Arvest Foundation,” Boys & Girls Club of Sequoyah County CEO Laura Kuykendall said. “It will allow us to continue to provide our prevention programs to our members when schools are closed due to COVID-19, by mailing them weekly packets of activities and information as well as introducing a new program, Positive Action.  Thank you to Jessica Taylor for nominating the Boys & Girls Club of Sequoyah County and to the Arvest Foundation for giving us much-needed funds to help serve our youth.”

“We are pleased to present this donation on behalf of the Arvest Foundation to support the Boys & Girls Club of Sequoyah County,” Taylor said. “We are proud to have the opportunity to make donations throughout Sequoyah County. It demonstrates the foundation’s ongoing commitment to help support our community.”
