Arvest Bank is pleased to announce a recent donation of $14,800 to First Tee – Northwest Arkansas. The gift was announced at the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) tournament in Bella Vista. This gift represents proceeds raised during the tournament and would not have been possible without key sponsors such as Accenture, Visit Bentonville and Arvest Bank.
The Accenture NW Arkansas Junior featured more than 75 male and female golfer ages 12-19.
“We are so thankful for this special gift, as it helped support young aspiring professional golfers at the AJGA tournament in September,” First Tee – Northwest Arkansas CEO Randy Hurban said. “These tournaments are critical in the way that they polish and refine young golfers to set them up for success in future endeavors. This event would not have been successful without the support of Arvest Bank.”
Arvest is dedicated to make a difference by delivering a positive and lasting impact in the communities it serves.
“We especially enjoy supporting events like the recent AJGA tournament,” said Brad Crain, president and CEO for Arvest in Benton County. “In addition to being an investment in the youth who participate, these events highlight the quality of life in Northwest Arkansas and show why we believe it is such a great place to live, work and play.”
