Arvest is proud to support local teachers once again through our “We Love Teachers” initiative by donating $72,000 to 144 teachers in our footprint.

Help us fight hunger in our community.

The annual initiative gives $500 to individual teachers at K-12 public state-funded schools throughout the bank’s four-state footprint receive a donation. Recipients were selected by partnering with schools’ administrations based on classroom needs.

Through “We Love Teachers,” Arvest aims to help teachers with the purchase of school supplies. According to a 2023 Teacher Spending Survey released by AdoptAClassroom.org, teachers reported spending an average of $800 out of their own pockets for classroom supplies.

Recognizing the important role teachers play in shaping our communities, Arvest began the initiative in 2016. To date, the bank has donated $468,500 to local teachers throughout Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas.
