The Alma (Ark.) High School baseball program will benefit from a $5,000 donation from the Arvest Foundation.

Help us fight hunger in our community.

The gift was announced today at Alma High School. Jeremy Nuckolls and Juan Preciado of Arvest Bank were on hand to present the check to Alma coach Brian Fry and assistant superintendent Travis Biggs.

With the donation, the school’s baseball team will purchase new safety nets for the baseball field, new uniforms and make improvements to the grounds.

“Our school district always appreciates partnering with the community to better our student-athletes and we are grateful for the donation that the Arvest Foundation has provided,” Biggs said.

“When Coach Fry told us about the need for safety equipment for the students, we were excited to nominate the Alma high school baseball team for Arvest Foundation funds,” Nuckolls said. “We are extremely excited to be able to help this program and the community of Alma.”
