As you prepare for the Independence Day weekend it’s important to remember sun safety. Here are a few tips to help prevent sunburns before they happen:
- Apply a 30 SPF or higher, broad-spectrum sunscreen every two hours or immediately after swimming. This can prevent harmful UV rays from the sun, which can cause a sunburn.
- When sitting outside for a prolonged period, wear a hat, sunglasses, or a cover up to help protect you from the sun’s rays.
