Patty Young, Arvest Director of Small Business Strategy and Innovation, has been appointed as a committee member to the Consumer Bankers Association’s (CBA) Small Business Banking Committee.

CBA’s Small Business Banking Committee is made up of financial leaders from member institutions across the U.S. The committee focuses on education, legislation and benchmarking for small business banking to help support and advance the interests of today’s small business owners.

“Small businesses are the backbone of our communities and vital to generating economic growth,” said Young. “CBA’s Small Business Banking Committee is dedicated to providing small businesses opportunities to thrive and grow in their communities and beyond. It is an honor to continue that work as part of the committee.”

Young has three decades of experience in the financial services industry including business and consumer segments, business development, strategy and execution. She received her bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Aurora University and is a graduate of Christian Brothers University’s Barret School of Banking. Young also attended the American Bankers Association Commercial Lending Academy at Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.
