FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arvest Bank once again has been recognized by Forbes magazine, this time as one of Arkansas’ “Best-In-State Banks” for 2018.
This is the first time Forbes and its market research partner, Statista, have produced such a list. Earlier this year, Forbes and Statista named Arvest one of “America’s Best Large Employers” for 2018, the second consecutive year it has received that honor.
“It is extremely rewarding to know how highly our associates think of our bank, and we believe that translates into the way we treat our customers every day. This new recognition reinforces that idea, and we couldn’t be more appreciative of those who rated Arvest so highly. We strive for excellence daily, and this type of recognition fuels our determination to keep working hard and serve our customers to the absolute best of our abilities.”
Kevin Sabin, Arvest president and CEO
For its “Best-In-State Banks” list, Forbes surveyed more than 25,000 U.S. citizens across all 50 states, asking them to name all banks where they have – or previously had – a checking and/or savings account, and rate them regarding overall recommendation and satisfaction. Banks with branches in 15 or more states were excluded.
Respondents also were asked to rate their banks in five categories: Trust, Terms & Conditions, Branch Services, Digital Services and Financial Advice. Each category contained a battery of questions. A bank’s total score was based on a formula weighting recommendation, general satisfaction and the scoring of the battery of questions.
