“Donny’s wide range of experience includes banking, branch management, wealth management, sales management and more,” said Asa Cottrell, Arvest Wealth Management president and CEO. “His leadership in those roles and as president and CEO of Arvest Trust has been strong and a key driver of our success. It’s also one of the reasons he is the perfect fit for this job.
“Calvin has been an amazing associate for more than 35 years and his contributions to our company have been invaluable. He’s also been a great representation of our culture and we wish him all the best in retirement.”
Rogers received his degree in economics and finance from Arkansas Tech University and obtained his CFP® certification in 1997. In his financial practice, Rogers believes in the solemn duties and responsibilities of financial stewardship and its impact on families and communities, now and for generations to come.
Rogers has been active serving the Fort Smith community, serving in various board capacities with Lincoln Child Care Services, The Community Services Clearinghouse, Fort Smith Boys Shelter and Reynolds Cancer Support House, among other endeavors.
“It’s humbling to think about following Calvin’s leadership and all the change he has navigated through over the past 35 years,” Rogers said. “We will certainly be standing on his shoulders as we continue to serve our customers and associates. I’m excited about the opportunity to serve our advisors, their clients and our respective communities as the next president of Arvest Wealth Management investment services.”
Rogers and his wife, Danielle, live in Fort Smith and have two adult children. Arvest Trust will announce his successor once he or she has been selected.
