McBee is replacing Gail Mainord, who is retiring in April. McBee has 17-plus years of banking experience, including more than six at Arvest. He has won Arvest’s bankwide sales and service award six times.

McBee began his Arvest career as a branch sales manager, then was promoted to branch administrator in 2015. As sales manager, McBee will coordinate, organize, direct, and control the bank’s sales and marketing programs, among other duties.

“David’s track record speaks for itself, and his experience and enthusiasm will serve him well in his new role,” said Tom Dame, Arvest Bank president/CEO for North Central Arkansas. “We always want to provide our customers with the best financial services possible, and David is a great example of an associate who does just that.”

McBee earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Arkansas State University, and is on track to graduate from the Graduate School of Banking at LSU later this year. He was awarded the Modern Woodmen’s Hometown Hero Award in 2015, and also recognized by U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton as the Arkansan of the Week in 2016.

A Mountain Home native, McBee has served as a Mountain Home Lions Club board member, chair for the Warrior for Hope 5K and chair for the Cotter Schools canned food and change drive, among other civic activities. He and his wife, Kelly, have two children.
