Arvest Bank is pleased to announce Shon Taylor has been named community market president in Miami.

Taylor, who has seven years of industry experience, is the first person to hold the title of community market president in Miami, which is part of Arvest’s Joplin, Mo., region. Taylor is responsible for formulating a hierarchy of objectives, standards of performance, strategies, plans, and budgets for Arvest in Miami. He also will be involved in commercial and agri lending.

“We couldn’t be more excited for Shon to fill this new role,” Arvest Bank Joplin president Chad Evans said. “His experience and expertise make him an ideal fit, as does the priority he places on taking care of customers.”

Taylor earned a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and completed the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. He is an active volunteer and deacon at First Baptist Church of Langley and president of Ketchum FFA Ag Boosters.

Taylor and his wife, Joy, have two sons.
