LOWELL, Ark. – Arvest Bank announced today a new service for small business customers that allows business owners and their designated employees to deposit checks made payable to the company from their mobile devices.

We're here to help protect your business from fraud.

Through Arvest Mobile Business Remote Deposit Capture, businesses log in to a mobile app with their user ID and password, take a photo of the check to be deposited, enter the amount of the check and submit. Like Arvest’s consumer mobile check deposit app, the new business app is available in the Apple® or Google Play™ stores. With both products, remote deposits may be made at any time and any place.

“Mobile Business Remote Deposit Capture helps small business owners focus on their customers and their business by saving them time spent out of the office,” Arvest Treasury Management Director Susan Helm said. “It also gives field teams who collect payments the option of depositing checks as they receive them.”

“This is a service recently introduced by some of the nation’s largest banks and we’re proud to be one of the first community banks to offer it to our business customers. It’s a great solution for them.”

Arvest Mobile Business Remote Deposit Capture comes at a time when mobile banking in general continues to increase in popularity among consumers. The 2016 Consumers and Mobile Financial Services Report from the United States Federal Reserve showed that 48 percent of bank customers who own a smartphone use mobile banking to deposit checks into their account.
