St. Bernards Foundation had an extra special Giving Tuesday thanks to a $5,000 grant from the Arvest Foundation that will help support the foundation’s mission to support St. Bernards Healthcare’s mission to provide Christ-like healing to the community through education, treatment and health services in Jonesboro and surrounding areas.
“All of us at St. Bernards are so grateful for the support of the Arvest Foundation,” said St. Bernards Foundation President Kila Owens Montgomery. “The funds donated this year were instrumental in helping exceed a Giving Tuesday match, which doubled the impact of the gift. Donations like this help us continue to offer Christ-like healing to patients and families across our region, and we are so thankful to the Arvest Foundation.”
Community Bank President Kevin Hufstedler presented the check to Montgomery and St. Bernards Medical Center Administrator and COO Michael Givens.
“We’re thrilled to present this gift to the St. Bernards Foundation on behalf of the Arvest Foundation,” said Hufstedler. “The Giving Tuesday match is a great way to increase the impact of Arvest Foundation funds and further the mission of St. Bernards.”
