Arvest Bank is pleased to announce Sharon Reese-McGlory has joined its board of directors for the Bartlesville region.
“We are thrilled to welcome Sharon Reese-McGlory to our local Arvest Bank board of directors,” said local Arvest Bank president Kim Adams. “Sharon has dedicated her career to serving our country, its veterans and most recently, the Bartlesville community. She will bring a wealth of knowledge to our board. Sharon’s support of Arvest Bank and understanding of our vision will help propel us toward the future.”
Reese-McGlory is the founder and CEO of Veterans Connection Organization (VCO), a non-profit organization serving veterans, service members, and their families. VCO helps enhance the quality of life of veterans by advocating for their needs, providing connection to resources, and promoting opportunities.
Reese-McGlory is a retired veteran herself, serving in the US Navy from 1984-2004 during Desert Storm/Desert Shield and Operation Enduring Freedom. She is a native of Bartlesville and a graduate of College High School.
In addition to military service, Reese-McGlory retired from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in 2018 after working for over 15 years in several federal and state agencies, including HUD, the Department of Veterans Administration, the Department of Defense, Department of Contract Auditing Agency and more.
Reese-McGlory has also volunteered throughout her career for various organizations, she was a participant of Leadership Bartlesville Class 29, and she is a published author.
