Residents in the Russellville, Ark., area will benefit from a $5,000 grant from the Arvest Foundation.
The gift was announced recently at the Russellville Chamber of Commerce. Joel Arivett, Elizabeth Hunnicutt, Shawn Duncan, Megan Chenowith, Jason McGee and Jessy Moreno of Arvest Bank were on hand to present the check.
“We appreciate the Arvest Foundation supporting the Russellville Regional Leadership Academy project. Community partners like the Arvest Foundation help make our community a great place to live,” said Paul Harvel president and CEO of Russellville Chamber of Commerce.
“We are pleased to present this grant on behalf of the Arvest Foundation to help fund Class 35 of the Russellville Regional Leadership Academy’s project,” Moreno said. “The funds will be used to add much-needed lighting on playgrounds at two city parks, Pleasant View Park and the Russellville Soccer Complex. The children in the community will greatly benefit from these improvements to the playgrounds.”
