The United State Postal Service has added a new ZIP code – 72405 – in Jonesboro.

As a reminder, Arvest will not contact you via telephone regarding this update. To report suspicious email messages, phone calls or text messages, please forward the message, or send a description of the call, to: reportfraud@arvest.com.

Arvest debit card purchases
Some Arvest debit card purchases require customers to enter their ZIP code. Here is what Arvest debit card customers need to know if they have been assigned the new 72405 Zip code:

  • Until affected customers contact Arvest to update their ZIP code to 72405, they should continue to use the 72401 ZIP code when making purchases. If customers enter the new 72405 ZIP code before contacting Arvest to update their information, purchases could be declined.
  • Once customers contact Arvest to update their ZIP code to 72405, it takes about 30 minutes for the update to be made in our systems.

Arvest credit card customers
Some Arvest credit card purchases also require customers to enter their ZIP code. Here is what Arvest credit card customers need to know if they have been assigned the new 72405 Zip code:

  • Affected customers can proactively update their ZIP code to 72405 by calling customer service at (800) 356-8085 or online at arvest.cardmanager.com.
  • Until affected customers update their ZIP code to 72405, they should continue to use the 72401 ZIP code when making purchases. If customers enter the new 72405 ZIP code before updating their information, purchases could be declined.
  • Once customers update their ZIP code to 72405, it takes about 30 minutes for the update to be made in our systems.
  • Additionally, addresses for Arvest credit card accounts are updated on a quarterly basis via an agreement with the United States Postal Service. If a ZIP code discrepancy is discovered during a quarterly review, we will update the address and notify customers via letter.
