Huntsville (Ark.) Middle School students will enjoy an enhanced educational experience thanks to a $5,500 grant from the Arvest Foundation.
The gift was made earlier this year when Arvest community bank president Matt Smith presented a check to Huntsville Middle School principal Matt Ferguson and media specialist Trisha Bolinger.
“We are very appreciative of the grant made by the Arvest Foundation,” Ferguson said. “Receiving this kind of community support helps us provide our students with a better educational experience.”
Funds from the grant are being used to remodel the middle school’s media room.
“We all know and understand that today’s students are tomorrow’s community leaders, so we were pleased to present this grant on behalf of the Arvest Foundation,” Smith said. “Education is a top priority for the foundation, and we trust this gift reflects that commitment.”
