Arvest Bank is pleased to announce Sammetra Christmon has been promoted to sales manager and executive vice president in Oklahoma City.
Christmon has 38 years of industry experience and has been with Arvest since 2001. In her new role, Christmon will support retail operations, consumer lending, mortgage lending, marketing and branch services, among other responsibilities.
“Sammetra has played a key role in the advancement of the Arvest brand and the culture we have established here in central Oklahoma,” said Ron Witherspoon, president for Arvest in Oklahoma City. “During her time with Arvest, Sammetra has served as branch manager, branch administrator and as a valuable member of our management team. She leads with integrity and a strong work ethic and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this important leadership role.”
A lifelong Oklahoma City resident, Christmon is active in numerous civic activities and is a member of Wilshire Church of Christ. She and her husband, Nathan, have two children.
