Firefighters in several northeast Oklahoma communities have received help in their efforts to keep citizens safe via recent donations totaling $12,500 by the Arvest Foundation.

Arvest community bank president Brandon Tate participated in four check presentations recently to celebrate the donations. The Porter Fire Department, Red Bird Fire Department, Tullahassee Fire Department and Wagoner Fire Department received individual donations that can be used for equipment, supplies or other needs.

“All of these fire departments provide valuable services to our communities and help keep them safe, and we are pleased to make these donations on behalf of the Arvest Foundation to support those efforts,” Tate said. “This donation is just one of many we have made throughout the area and we trust they demonstrate the foundation’s ongoing commitment to our region.”
