The Arvest Foundation is pleased to announce it has awarded four grants totaling $26,000 in North Central Arkansas.
The grants are designed to benefit the communities of Flippin and Yellville, including schools in those areas.
“We were pleased to present these donations on behalf of the Arvest Foundation,” said Mike Willard, president and CEO of Arvest Bank in North Central Arkansas. “These organizations have such positive impact on our communities and we trust these grants demonstrate the foundation’s ongoing commitment to our area.”
The grants were made to:
- Flippin School District – Funds will be used to provide a new school sign.
- City of Flippin – The grant will fund equipment upgrades for the city.
- School of New Hope – The grant provides operating funds needed to replace loss of income due to OCVID-19 ramifications.
- City of Yellville – The donation will be used to help fund local sports programs.
“These recipients, particularly the schools, open so many doors and create positive change for so many children,” said David McBee, executive vice president and sales manager for Arvest in North Central Arkansas. “It’s always great to see them rewarded in this way and it’s a pleasure to help facilitate these grants provided by the Arvest Foundation.”
