Arvest associates recently presented a $5,000 donation on behalf of the Arvest Foundation to Warriors Keep, a Pottsville, Ark.-based nonprofit organization that trains dogs for veterans.
The funds will help the organization to build an outdoor fenced training pad, equipped with outdoor turf and an agility course. The organization’s mission is to train service dogs for veterans with PTSD, as well as physical and cognitive disorders. Through the training, veterans and family members can also gain the skills needed to train their own service dog.
Russellville Arvest branch associates Ashley Smith, Branch Sales Manager; Aaron McElroy, Personal Banker; and Brittany Tolliver, Commercial Banker, recently presented the check to Darren and Whitney Pool with Warriors Keep.
“Thanks to the Arvest Foundation for the amazing donation to Warriors Keep,” said Darren Pool, Warriors Keep executive officer. “This will greatly improve the training and duration of training that we are able to do with our service dog teams, especially throughout the rainy season in winter months.”
