Festivities will include a cookout from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The ATM with Live Teller, which allows customers to have face-to-face communication and conduct transactions with Arvest tellers via a video screen, is located at 403 Main Street.
Additionally, Arvest will offer concierge service from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. for customers who may need help or are simply interested in learning how the ATM with Live Teller functions. Customers can choose whether they want to take advantage of the video teller capabilities or use the machine like a traditional ATM.
The video tellers are able to help customers complete more types of transactions than a traditional ATM, including larger withdrawal amounts, specific account inquiries, deposits of 30 items at a time, and complete check cashing. The ATM with Live Teller is available from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday. Standard ATM capabilities are available 24 hours a day.
“Our ATM with Live Teller has been up and running for some time now, and the response from our customers has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Chad Evans, president for Arvest Bank in the Joplin region. “One of our goals in introducing this technology here was to give our customers personal service during extended banking hours, as well as 24/7 access as a full-service ATM. This technology is the first of its kind for Arvest in Missouri, and we are excited to introduce it in Golden City.”
