Arvest Bank is pleased to announce Terisa C. Riley has joined its local board of directors in Fort Smith, Ark.
Riley is the chancellor at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith (UAFS) and has spent more than 25 years working in practically every facet of higher education, from academics to administration. Before joining UAFS, Riley spent 12 years as senior vice president at Texas A&M University – Kingsville. Riley places a priority on communication, transparency, and shared governance.
“We are so happy to add Terisa’s perspective to our board here in Fort Smith and the River Valley,” said Roger Holroyd, local president for Arvest. “I have no doubt she will make our team stronger and that not only will benefit the bank, but more importantly, our customers and the communities we serve.”
Riley earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and master’s degree in higher education administration from the University of Missouri and a doctorate in higher education administration and research methodology from Saint Louis University. She has four children.
