Arvest Bank is pleased to announce Vic Wheeler has assumed duties as president for Arvest in the Okmulgee, Sapulpa, Sand Springs and Jenks communities in Oklahoma.

In that role, Wheeler will be particularly involved in lending and business development for those areas. He will continue to serve as president for Arvest in McAlester and Eufaula, a role he has held since 2017.

Wheeler earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary education at Oklahoma State University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. Additionally, he graduated with honors from the Oklahoma Bankers Association (OBA) Basic Banking School, OBA Intermediate School, OBA Operations School and OBA Commercial Lending School.

Active in numerous civic organizations, Wheeler currently serves as a founding member of McAlester Makers Inc., which aims to promote economic stability and growth by cultivating and equipping local entrepreneurs and artisans in their communities, and as a volunteer coach for the Jenks Trojan Athletics’ 7th-grade football team.

Wheeler lives in Jenks with his wife, Helen, and their two children.
