Children in Sequoyah County recently received school supplies thanks to a $3,000 donation from the Arvest Foundation.

Help us fight hunger in our community.

The gift was announced at the KI BOIS Community Action Center. Lacey Prentice and Jessica Taylor of Arvest Bank were on hand to present the check.

“KI BOIS would like to thank the Arvest Foundation for the grant received in the amount of $3,000,” said Melissa Lowe, KI BOIS Sequoyah County director. “This grant was used for our 7th annual Back-to-School Roundup to provide free school supplies to local children.”

“I am so happy to present this donation on behalf of the Arvest Foundation to KI BOIS,” Prentice said. “It is a wonderful organization and I appreciate all it does for our community. This donation is just one of many we have made throughout the area. It demonstrates the foundation’s ongoing commitment to organizations in our community that are making a difference.”
