The donation was announced following the recent American Junior Golf Association tournament held in Bella Vista.

“We are grateful for this generous gift as it will enable First Tee’s Character Development Mobile Unit to begin impacting the underserved youth in Benton County,” First Tee – Northwest Arkansas CEO Randy Hurban said. “We look forward to building on our successes in Springdale so we can build more game-changers by teaching them life skills and character development activities through the game of golf.”

The grant is just one of many the Arvest Foundation has made throughout Northwest Arkansas and demonstrates its ongoing commitment serving the needs of children.

“It was a pleasure to present this donation on behalf of the Arvest Foundation,” said Brad Crain, president and CEO for Arvest in Benton County. “We are excited to see the expansion of First Tee’s mobile unit program into Benton County. First Tee is an amazing organization, impacting our youth positively by teaching kids lifelong skills and lessons. We are especially pleased to help introduce it to some kids who may not otherwise have been exposed to the program.”
