The gift was announced recently at the Alma Public Library. Jeremy Nuckolls, branch sales manager, and Ben Boerjan, consumer loan advisor, were on hand to present the donation to the Alma Public Library staff.

“The Alma Public Library would like to thank the Arvest Foundation for the grant in the amount of $7,500.00,” said Marla Cantrell, director of the Alma Public Library. “We were thrilled when we found out we were receiving this much-needed money. Because of the grant, we will be able to purchase items that will benefit the community, especially in this time of COVID-19.

“We will be buying air purifiers, technology that will help us reach our patrons on social media platforms, touchless faucets, and a more efficient water cooler that will replace our old water fountain. Beyond the economic boost the grant gave us, it was a joy to be recognized. The staff of the Alma Public Library works tirelessly to serve the public that we care so much about, and we were thrilled to be honored in this way.”

“We are so pleased to have the opportunity to present the Alma Public Library with these Arvest Foundation funds,” Nuckolls said. “This donation, along with others like it, will greatly benefit the community we are extremely proud to be a part of.”
