The Tahlequah Mission Park Project (TMPP) has received a boost in the form of a $15,000 donation from the Arvest Foundation.

Help us fight hunger in our community.

The gift was announced recently during a check presentation involving Arvest Bank associates Brandon Tate, Rachel Lee, Austin Martin, Joshua Winn, Beverly Adkisson and Arvest Wealth Management client advisor Jordan Landsaw. Also on hand were TMPP president Craig Clifford and Lori Enlow, president of Tahlequah Trails.

The donation will help fund the following at a 200-acre biking and recreational trail east of Tahlequah, Okla., near the Illinois River:

  • Fence construction
  • Parking
  • Bike/outdoor trails

“We are pleased to present this donation on behalf of the Arvest Foundation to support the TMPP’s efforts,” said Tate, community bank president for Arvest. “This new area and these new amenities will no doubt benefit many here in Tahlequah and visitors from other areas as well. This kind of project is in line with the Arvest Foundation’s efforts to improve the places where we live, work and play.”
