Arvest Bank recently presented 11 Shawnee (Okla.) High School seniors with academic letter jackets, marking the 37th year we have recognized the top five percent of the school’s senior class.

Help us fight hunger in our community.

“We are incredibly proud of our academic letter jacket recipients and all that they represent about Shawnee High School,” said April Grace, superintendent for Shawnee Public Schools. “Each one of these students deserves this recognition for their commitment to excellence. We are so grateful to Arvest Bank for their continued support of this longstanding tradition for the top five percent of our SHS upcoming graduates.”

Brian Nave, community president for Arvest in Shawnee, presented the students with their jackets during halftime at a recent Shawnee football game.

“We at Arvest appreciate the hard work required of these students to achieve academic excellence,” Nave said. “We also recognize the support they have received from parents, grandparents, teachers, counselors and the school administration. We are always enjoy participating in this event, which allows us and the entire community to recognize these outstanding students.”

“Our academic letter jacket recipients are amazing students that represent Shawnee High School well,” SHS principal Matt Johnson added. “I couldn’t be more proud of them.”
