The Journal Record, a daily business and legal newspaper based in Oklahoma City, recently released its fourth annual “Best Places to Work in Oklahoma” publication and Arvest Bank was once again recognized.

Honorees were divided into two categories, based on number of employees, and Arvest ranked ninth among 15 companies recognized in the ‘large’ category. Arvest ranked 12th in 2019.

The Journal Record partners with Best Companies Group, an independent research firm specializing in identifying and recognizing great places to work, to compile the annual list. Honorees were selected based on employee interviews and inspection of workplace policies, practices and demographics.

The Journal Record cites an ‘enjoyable and friendly work environment, good benefits … and a strong emphasis on customer service’ as the top reasons Arvest associates indicated they like working at Arvest.

“The culture of caring is what makes Arvest a different kind of bank and a great place to work,” Arvest regional executive Bradley Krieger told The Journal Record.

Krieger also mentioned Arvest’s core values – communicate openly and strive for excellence – as differentiators.

“Honesty, respect and trust are the pillars that support open communication,” Krieger said. “Management at all levels truly embraces an open-door policy and the concept of servant leadership. We also set high standards and seek to continuously improve. There is a focus on friendliness, responsibility and customer service. These characteristics are evident in how we treat customers and associates.”
