Game wardens in the Russellville area will benefit from a $5,000 grant from the Arvest Foundation.
The gift was announced today at Arvest Bank’s Russellville West Main branch. Jason McGee, Renea Emmons, Joel Arivett, Shawn Bates, Tammy Burchett, Megan Chenowith, Shawn Duncan and Irais Duke-Miguel of Arvest Bank were on hand to present the check to Cpl. Jamie Jackson of the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation.
“We appreciate the Arvest Foundation’s generous donation to the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation’s ‘Get it for Game Wardens’ program,” said Deke Whitbeck, president of the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation. “Partners like the Arvest Foundation allow for the purchase of additional equipment, gear, and accessories for Arkansas game wardens as they work tirelessly to protect wildlife and natural resources across Arkansas. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s Enforcement Division is made up of over 160 game wardens across 75 counties in Arkansas. We are dedicated to helping ensure their safety and efficient performance in the field. This generous gift will undoubtedly have a positive impact for the men and women of the AGFC’s Enforcement Division.”
